In the material world, we recognize objects through the five physical senses—seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling. However, God cannot be known or proven through these sensory experiences. God is beyond the physical realm. When the mind rises to a transcendental state, one can experience the subtle presence and vibrations of God.
Because God is eternal and truth itself, He cannot be experienced through temporary and limited physical senses. Instead, God is experienced through the inner senses of the soul—the mind and the intellect. Through deep spiritual awareness, God becomes a living experience rather than a belief.
God – The Supreme Soul
Like us, God is also a soul—but the Supreme Soul. The term Parama means supreme or beyond. God does not enter the cycle of birth and death, is not bound by karma, and remains untouched by pleasure and pain, victory and defeat. God has no limitations and possesses complete knowledge of the universe and its laws.
Is God the Doer of All Actions?
Many believe that God directly fulfills desires, grants rewards, creates difficulties, or controls every event in the universe. However, God does not violate the universal laws of karma to reward or punish anyone. Every soul receives the fruits of its actions at the appropriate time.
God’s role is not to interfere, but to remind humanity of the eternal laws of karma and rebirth—especially when people forget their true identity and become trapped in body-consciousness. For this reason, God is revered as the eternal source of truth and guidance.
Where Is God?
Some believe God is everywhere, some believe God resides in specific places, and some even believe that they themselves are God. Yet, when people sincerely remember God, their gaze naturally turns upward.
Beyond the physical sky, clouds, and stars lies the spiritual world—a realm invisible to telescopes, satellites, or physical eyes. This golden-red world is the eternal home of all souls. It exists beyond the five elements and is known as the sixth, spiritual dimension.
Through meditation, when soul-consciousness rises to this level, the soul experiences a sense of returning home—and ultimately connects with God.
God – The Spiritual Sun
Just as the physical sun provides light, warmth, and energy equally to all, God—the Spiritual Sun—radiates the light of divine knowledge equally to every soul, without discrimination.
With complete selflessness and benevolence, God awakens the soul’s original qualities of peace, love, and happiness. Across religions, God is known by different names—such as Shiva, Rahim, and Karunyaprakasham—all of which signify auspiciousness, compassion, and benevolence.
God’s Wisdom, Love, and Power
Some question why, if God exists, He does not perform miracles or force humanity onto the right path. The truth is that God never interferes with human freedom. True divine wisdom lies in respecting the individuality and free will of every soul.
God does not make decisions for us. Instead, He gives us spiritual understanding—helping us distinguish between love and hatred, joy and sorrow, success and failure. The soul is always free to choose its actions and attitudes.
The Eternal Truth Called God
The One who is known as the Ocean of Love, the Wisest of the Wise, and the Almighty Power—the One whom humanity turns to when all else fails—is called God. God is the eternal truth, the unfailing support, and the highest spiritual refuge for every soul.
